Attendance: Pat Aron, Kelley Ready, Samba Halkose, Suzanne Davis, Peggy Barrett (via telephone), Jackie Fletcher

Sign-In Sheets: Pat was unable to decipher five names written on the sign-in sheet. Kelley is going to try to see if she can figure out the names. She will follow-up with these individuals.
House Party: There were ten house party interests from individuals, colleges, a high school and a church.
Jackie will develop a checklist for house party host.
Petition to Sen. Brown: This agenda item was not discussed.
Simmons College: Pat and Kelley will speak at Simmons College Graduate School of Social Work.
First Unitarian Society: Peggy, Pat, and Samba will facilitate a forum.
Donors: Two individuals gave monetary donations. One check was made out incorrectly. Pat will follow-up with the donor.
Network: Kelley suggested that we/CAN members contact the Huntington for a list of the names of people who were interested in working on Congo issues.
Huntington Theater: The Huntington Theater fundraiser was $57.10. Ann Morgan, representative from Huntington Theater sent a thank you note to CAN for facilitating the discussion groups after the theater performance.
Movie: Pat suggested we consider organizing around the movie “Pushing the Elephant” when it is opens in [Cambridge].
Codman Academy: Peggy gave an update on Codman Academy’s students having an interest in working on a project for Congo. The teacher/representative, Meg Campbell would like a CAN member to meet with the students on a Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Kelley will follow-up with Meg Campbell.
