Welcome to Congo Action Now!
Founded in 2009, Congo Action Now (CAN) brings together activists from Massachusetts and New Hampshire working to create peace and justice in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with a focus on ending violence against women.
CAN is currently focusing on passage of the Massachusetts Congo Conflict Minerals bill we proposed in the summer of 2011. Visit the relevant sections of our website for more information on H.2898 'An Act Relative to Congo Conflict Minerals' and how you can get involved.
Join CAN as we educate, speak out, advocate, march and collaborate to support our Congolese sisters and brothers in bringing an end to the devastating war being fought on the bodies of the Congolese people. Become allies in the growing international movement for peace and security in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
